In the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is one of the most successful teams. This is a popular franchise cricket team based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and was founded in the year 2008. It also won the IPL title four times in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021. Moreover, this team till now has the highest match-winning percentage.

The owners of  Kings XI Punjab are Mohit Burman (46%), Ness Wadia (23%), Preity Zinta (23%), and Karan Paul (Apeejay Surrendra Group – 8%). Moreover, the owners of Kings XI Punjab paid a total of $76 million for obtaining the franchise.

It was bought by Vijay Mallya, who paid about US $111.6 million for this team. The United Spirits Limited is a subsidiary of Diageo which is an international Beverage Alcohol Company established in London. According to a survey, the brand value of RCB was estimated to be US $83 million in the year 2019. They finished three times as runner-ups but are unfortunate to win a single IPL title. In addition to this, Royal Challengers Bangalore also holds the record of highest as well as lowest scores in the Indian Premier League which is 263/5 and 49 respectively.
